Their journey, rooted deeply in the red earth of Amungee Mungee Station in the Northern Territory, is the direct inspiration for everything we do.
The Amungee Mungee Story: Innovation born from necessity
Emma and Adrian didn't set out to build a manufacturing and retail empire. They set out to solve a fundamental problem on their own property: how to create robust, reliable water infrastructure that could withstand the unforgiving conditions of the Top End. They needed systems that ensured their cattle never walked more than 2km for a drink – a game-changer for productivity and animal welfare in such a vast landscape.
What they couldn't find, they built. What they built, worked. And from that personal success, born of grit and innovation, Northern Stock Water emerged. It was a natural progression for Austral Ag to follow, offering the comprehensive range of everyday essentials that farmers, just like Emma and Adrian, need to keep their operations thriving.
