    Good shears, hope they last

I have small sheep so I bought this size (serrated), rather than the white handled ones. I'd heard only good things about how well they trimmed hooves. It's been very dry here, and my last hoof trimmers were not making a dent in my sheep's feet. These were an improvement, but they still struggled with some parts of particularly hard hooves (the ends). I had to use the horse hoof nippers for those parts. They were comfortable to use. Still not very easy to cut my sheep's feet in mid-summer. Hopefully by winter the hooves will soften and make the job less difficult
